Glenna Burmer is a composer and artist who produces live concerts, music and dance programs featuring original music, choreography and video. As president of Burmer Music LLC, she has produced six contemporary classical music CDs or music compilations, including three concerts at Benaroya Hall in Seattle and a ballet at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Wash. Over the years, Burmer Music has won acclaim from concert-going audiences and music critics alike.

With both an M.D. and a Ph.D., Burmer had an extensive career as a molecular pathologist and was a founder of LifeSpan BioSciences, a Seattle healthcare company that is a world leader in the antibody industry. On August 31, 2018, LifeSpan Biosciences, Inc., was acquired by Thompson Street Capital Partners; Burmer retired in 2021.
